Terms and conditions — Olo alpha test

Applies to participants in the Olo alpha test group.

What Olo is

Olo is a personal testosterone monitoring tool. It is not a medical device, and it is not currently approved or cleared by any medical regulator (including CE marking or FDA clearance). Olo does not diagnose, treat, prevent, cure, or manage any medical condition.

Anything Olo shows you is a personal trend, not a medical result. It is not a substitute for advice from a doctor or other qualified healthcare provider. If you have health concerns, please speak with a healthcare professional.

Purpose of this alpha test

This alpha test is for research and feedback purposes only. You're testing an early, unfinished prototype so we can learn what works, what doesn't, and how to improve the product before it's released more widely. It is not a clinical trial, and the results you see are not intended to inform any medical or treatment decision.

What we're asking of you

• You're 18 years of age or older.
• You'll use the device for about 30 days, as instructed.
• You understand this is a prototype, not a finished consumer product, and it may not always work as expected.
• You'll give us honest feedback about your experience, including things that don't work well.
• You'll return the device at the end of the test period if asked to.
• Your participation is voluntary, and you can stop at any time, for any reason, without needing to explain why.

What data we collect

To run this alpha test, we collect:

• Contact information — your name and email address, used to communicate with you about the test.
• Personal health data — your testosterone readings and any related notes you provide (for example, about sleep, training, diet, or alcohol), used to evaluate the device and understand your experience.
• Feedback — anything you tell us during the test, including daily notes and any end-of-test conversation or survey.

Testosterone readings are a special category of personal (health) data. We only collect and use this data with your explicit consent, and only for the purposes described in this document: running the alpha test, improving the product, and understanding how it performs in real use.

How we use and protect your data

• Your data is used internally by the Olo team for this alpha test and product development. We don't sell your data, and we don't share your individual results with anyone outside the Olo team without your permission.
• We keep your data only as long as needed for this alpha test and any follow-up product development directly related to it, and will delete it when it's no longer needed for those purposes.
• You can ask to see the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent means we'll stop using your data going forward, though we may need to keep some records where we're required to.

Assumption of risk

Because this is an early-stage prototype, it may be uncomfortable, inconvenient, or occasionally inaccurate, and it has not gone through the same testing as a finished medical or consumer product. By participating, you understand and accept this, and agree to use the device as instructed and to raise any concerns with us promptly.
